The Most Fitting Subject

The most fitting subject which the tongue of words should use with the using of tongue, is the exalted exalting of the Lord God's omnipotent omnipotence.

May His ninety-nine blessed names be praised!
May His ninety-nine praised names be blessed!

His is Creation, like a brocaded fabric, colored with exquisite designs and various groupings.
He brought everything from nothing unto the basis of being.
May the Leavener of Clay be glorified!
May the Powerful Dispenser be glorified!

***** Timoor Khan of pure progeny — may Allah send him the delights of Paradise! — related how God the Holder of the Scales of Justice with the Strength of His Hands — may He be exalted! — created the first man Adam Khan — on him Peace! — out of clay, and from the clay which remained in the mould in which Adam Khan — on him Peace! — had been shaped, the Lord God — may He be exalted! — made seven things:

This is the truth!
And it has also been said that sins are equal in number to the hairs
Of the horse's mane .

*****

Thus said the Khan Timoor Khan of pure progeny,
The far traveled Dervish ,
