To my Tutors Ghost Doctor Travers

To my Tutors Ghost Doctor Travers

When Skillfull Gunners ayme a Mark to hit
They mount their Ordnance first then Travers it
To find true Levell, and all Art express
The quadrant yeilds with Caloping Compasses
Then they guive fier, and not before, to trye
The Conquering force of their Artillery
So did Thy Riper Judgement Lectures use
To frame Delighfulnes unto each Muse
My youthfull Stubbernes could skearce disgest
And didst beguile m'into Apolloes feast
At unawares, so running ore the fare
Wher evry Dish appeerd most Singuler
My Tender years, weak ludgment had posest
To chuse the lighter Cates, refuse the best
Which was my fault alone, and not thy will
Would have directed to more power and Skill.
