In Natelem — 1649

In Natalem — 1649

A Great mistery Christ manifested in the flesh

When wonder struck, Amazement ceasd
At what Our God to frame was pleasd
Soe that one Age the other tels
The Glory of his Miracles
Though those may end yet will not I
Leav noating of one Mistery
Soe far excelling all the rest
As worthily to be the best
And therfore 'tis a Great one stild
Though swaded in a little Child
The King of Heaven daind to come
On earth thorough a woemans wombe
Mans lost condition to refresh
Was, manifested in the flesh
Let flesh again soe much afford
Of incence to this Gratious Lord
As to exchange the world and all
Its trash for treasure spirituall
Keep A Berth day for him through fayth
For ther's noe more that scripture sayth
And wher that finger silent is
If man attempt he steers amiss
For nothing fit to be reveald
Must be presumd is ther conceald.
