O God, though Countless Worlds of Light

1. O God, though countless worlds of light Thy power and glory
Though
show, Though round thy throne a-
Though round thy throne above all hight, Im-
Though round thy throne above all hight, Though round thy throne a-
round thy throne above all hight, Immortal seraphs glow.
bove all hight, Immortal seraphs glow.
mortal seraphs glow. Immortal seraphs glow.
bove all hight, Immortal seraphs glow.

2. Yet oft to men of ancient time
Thy glorious presence came,
And in Moriah's fane sublime
Thou didst record thy name.

3. And now, whene'er thy saints apart
Are met for praise and prayer,
Wherever sighs a contrite heart,
Thou, gracious God, art there.

4. With grateful joy thy children rear
This temple, Lord, to thee;
Long may they sing thy praises here,
And here thy beauty see.

5. Here may thy truth fresh triumphs win.
Eternal Spirit, here,
In many a heart now dead in sin,
A living temple rear.
