Oh, Sing to God

1. Oh, sing to God your maker. Your joyful songs and praises glad e'er
2. He parts the raging billows And leads us safely through the path thus
raising, Before all other duties, For
opened. He loosed the tempest's fury A-
all his goodness ne'er forget to praise him With thankful tongue,
gainst the might of Pharaoh sent to harm us. The horse-man fierce
We praise his name For all his daily blessings; For our sal-
In full career He to the ground hath smitten, And in the
vation Which he so freely grants, let us extol him.
billows He horse and man hath utterly destroyed.

3. Give ear O fairest virgins
In Israel born, from Abraham descended.
The Lord God worship only,
For yours the race that God the Lord has chosen.
O chosen race
His praises sing,
His greatness and his power,
Who through the billows
Did make a road and to dry land did lead you.
