Out of Martiall Ep.-21-Li-5 To Martiall

Might I enjoy my time with thee
(Deer Martiall) in securety
And soe dispose of vacant howers
As for to make life truly owrs
We should indeed but strangers be
To Towers of magnanimety
And steer our course alike as farr
From Crabbid strife and the sad barr
Nor with Statue Pride Familiar
But riding out into the feild
Discourse of that our bookes doe yeild
Or else at home what the house hath
Enjoy In shades in wench in bath
These Places we should still Posess
Make This alone our busines
But now (alas) soe times enthrall
None lives unto himself at all
Good Dayes are fled and truly soe
To us that sufferd them to goe
When any one knowes how t'live best
Ther let him fix and set up's rest.
