Poems from the Henn Manuscript - Part 20

Death 's domination yearns, outreaching hands of ice
To grasp the summit of my soul's desire:
Swifter than flieth light, my radiant love outflies
The clutching cold, and bathes in starry fire,
Beyond the shores of night: where aureoled companies
Hail her with songs of light in the sun's choir.
