erect the blue police salute the vehicles.
the black police return the polished loud salute of the wheeling white police.

the wounded walk their way from old wars of words & nerves & lilacs.

logistics chokes the tracks with chariots of rhetoric & steel-belted appeals to the radial heritage of deathless leather hard as cash.
& revolutionary dedication to tall ideals of the green-crossed palm.

the lip of blood.
the educated knee.
the caught ear deaf as a barber's navel.
polite oil lanolinning easily along.
the polished apple shrugs.
the mixture being much too rich the engine drowns in its own juices the last lights yellow & brown & die the radio fades.

the last lilac of napalm politics seeds the wind with metal pollen moles.
