Sapiens Dominabitur Astris

What shall I say? when Each String Jarrs
Hes only wise can govern Starrs,
Count ore the Gammouth that extends
Unto the Spheres, at fingers ends
Compose an Ayer may Controwle
Both Artike and Ant artike Pole
As if Each Noat its Cliff and Key
Had borrowd from the Milky Way
To trace a smooth white path wherby
His Life mought All prove Harmony
Fixt Constant on a Fimament
Of so much quiet and Content
Whilst Planets Rove, that nothing thence
Shall cause to Him ill Influnce
When He himself to mirth Resignes
He's Conversant with All the Signes
And if abroad He would be sped
The Dog-Stars are uncoupeled
To start and run the Timerous Hare
Court Cassiopea in her Chaire
Mount Pegasus and wings Display
In refuge of Andromeda
Dance to Orions Harp and Skip
After Bootes and his whip
Make the fower wheels in Charlses wayne
Fier their Axel tree again
As once they did when Phaetons pride
Phlegon and th' other three would guide:
Take the Bull by the Eye and wrest
The Lions Hart out of its brest:
Contemplating admire the Swan
With its new Constellation
Butt with the Captain of the Flock
And at the Virgins dore-sels knock
Rectefy Cancers Crawle and Trye
To disunite kind Gemini
Poyse Libras ballance and bring on
Alay to Fiery Scorpion
And Chirons double shape betray
When Saturn horsed Philera
Bringing the Lustful Goat to mind
When winter Solstice proves unkind
And for to drayn Aquarius send
For undertakers of the Fen
That Fishes may enjoy their ease
In larger scoap in boundles seas
And Cetus satiated thus
Swallow and spout Eridanus
Play with the Dragons twisted tayle
And Gibe fayr Argo's Unfurld sayle
Mount with the Eagle, ther Comprise
The Voted Locks of Berenice
Observe the Dolphin when stormes neer
How He becomes Irreguler
Adding Corona unto These
Call down sweet showres from Pleiades
Causing the Earth with Hevns dew blest
Participate with All the rest
Whilst He who shuns debate and warrs
Is truliest sayd to Govern Starrs.
