The Sea

I choose this day of clear skies without end
To shoulder my fishing pole
and by myself saunter east to the coast
Enjoying the great outdoors, I loaf by the sea
At ease with all my troubles left behind
Clouds float in the sky
Birds fly through the air
Fish swim in the water
Close to the blue sea and sky
Leisurely and free of care am I
And at this moment so very content
