FIRST HALF

Sporting a sword
with clasp ornaments made of silver,
whose son is it, sauntering through Nara,
whose son is it, sauntering?

SECOND HALF

I wish I had the sword
of that man of Furuya in Isonokami!
Flaunting a braided cord I'd walk the road to the palace,
walk the road to the palace!
