T-m Punsibi gave us his Art,
With wit and humour played his part;
With serious air he recommends
The Art of Punning to his friends,
Such as no irony could see,
Were sure that puns like f—ts are free.
They strain their wits, all hazards run,
To be delivered of a pun,
That commonly is too farfetched
And in the tenters too long stretched.
