Time Passes

Time passes, just as a steamer's red belly moves by,
like a flare of sunset by a granary,
the beautiful ringing in a black cat's ear,
time passes, unnoticed, softly casting a shadow, it passes.
Time passes, just as a steamer's red belly moves by.
