Upon Ben Jonsons Playes calld his workes

Why do we stile Those workes which wer but Playes
But that to Fancy ther goe severall wayes
Some born to Raptures fluently distill
Their sacred Numbers to adorn the quill
Others ther are bring forth with paines and sweat
So Head and Braines into an Anvile beat
Of Those, was This, whose deep Conceptions Lurke
Therefore we'l turn His Playes into a worke.
