Upon the Chimny Act

What ever Cole or wood afford
The houshould Gods to warme
The thankfull People to their Lord
And King do now Conforme
For out of evry Harth a part
Of Loyalty doth shine
And this the Altar of Each hart
Brings in a Silver Mine
Each Chimny sends not only forth
Vayn Smoak soon turnd to Ayre
But Silver Treasure of more worth
In Shillings made to payre
Thus hath our Pious Parlement
Decreed to serve their King
And to that Generall Consent
Alltars and Chimnies bring.
