Upon Mans Frailty

What Permanence to Earth or Clay is due
Fond man Consider for that Emblems you
This Day brings humane flesh under Deaths yoak
And yesterday I sawe a Pittcher broak
Our Forms are diffrent, Substances the same
The subtil artist doth both vessells frame
For honor and the Contrary, and thus
Our Great Creator moulds and Fashions us
If we would then Our makers praise set forth
We should take Care to becom those of worth.
