Upon newes of the first beating up the quarters at Leeds and Wakefield

All that is Commet like amongst the rout
That look noe farther: makes these cast about
For frugal ease and muster Clubbs as farr
As backt with Fair pretext and Holy warr
Cloathing their purpose with such hope as Ledes
T'awake the Feild by their Heroick deeds
Let them not bragg too soon, the day may come
They'L wish they'd kept them stil at wheel and Loome
