Upon a Rumor of a Generall rising

Upon a Rumor of a Generall rising

At Rising Chase not far from Lin
Wher Vessels are bound out and in
I ther espide a Lad whose Fate
Through wandering Unfortunate
Had driv'n Him Thither to implore
Asistance from His Native Shore
His Comely Features did presage
That Offspring from Royal Parentage
He should again restored be
To's Antient State and Dignety
Mauger All Opposition, when
True Faith posest His Cuntry men
Which that it may my wishes are
And happy Peace succeed unnatural War.
