When I Admire the Greatness

1. When I admire the greatness Of the works of God,
And see how he has formed The earth on which we dwell;
2. In all thy works and deeds Thy power is revealed;
When darkest clouds are swept Aside and stars unveiled.
How with his mighty arm He made the billowing sea, And
Thy vengeance falls on those Who follow evil ways; They
how he fixed its bounds That may not moved be.
vanish from our view; Their triumphs fade away.

3. O Lord of Lords and God
Of Gods, show us thy face;
Grant us prosperity.
Receive our heartfelt praise.
Thy righteous judgments thou
Hast shown thy faithful folk;
We pray they may be in
Every heart enthroned.
