Wrot at Raynam, June-23-1659.

Lord in whose hand it us
To make a Metamorphosis
And whose sole will creats
A change in Kingdoms, Powers, and States
Smile on This sinfull Land
Nor let Oppression bear Command
But Now in these Our Times
Cancell the Guilt of all our Crimes
Let not the Conquering Sword
Prevaile, but Sunshine of Thy word
Still light us in our wayes
To bless and magnefy Thy prayse
That All Tunes may agree
Under the Vine, Fig, Olive Tree
Concentrating in This
That to Serve Thee Chief Freedom is
And Peace and Truth as One
Accomplishing the Diapazon
Each may Enjoy his Due
From Thee whose sole Edict is True.
