The crestfallen's epiphany

"And in the corner the devil grins
When the world disgraces the virtue for sin
And when the fire turns dust to Ashes and smoke
The hardworking is downtrodden by the astute folk
Where loyalties are merely fantasies to see
Betrayal, monopoly wins the plea
A world so appalling it ignites my grief
How it honours the nefarious and their mischief
Repulsive as it sounds, it's bitter indeed
How the destitute's misery is fed by their vanity and grief
A world of despondence, regrets, neglect
Ye man, what a fool you are to expect!"
