Hank & Frank

by awhoff3

Hank & Frank were feet

and best friends, tight.

Hank was the left.

And Frank was the right.

They grew up together

at the bottom of legs

Hank smelled like ham.

Frank smelled like eggs.

They were feet after all.

Some say they should stink

But Hank & Frank

put their feet together to think.

They didn’t stink when they showered

They didn’t stink in the bath.

Maybe washing them was the key to stay off the stinky path.

Together they learned

to walk side by side.

When one stepped forward,

the other moved in stride.

They balanced a body

They carried some toes

Together they were perfect

“Except stinky,” said the nose.

So Hank and Frank

decided to bathe.

They’d keep themselves clean

to avoid the scathe.

Because Hank & Frank
worked together so well

Nose could no longer say, “Hank & Frank smell.”
