Immigration Crisis

Immigration Crisis
By Ramona Thompson
I simply don’t get it
Many so many of our own suffer here today, yet we turn away from them and now others as well
Maybe we need to rethink this whole crazy thing
If we did maybe, just maybe we could make America great again
God guide our hands and our hearts during this most difficult time for our nation
Run us not towards the wrong choice, but the right one to make it alright
Allow wisdom not selfish political interests to be order that rules the day
Take charge and only if is your will let them in
It can be no other way and in no one else’s hands but yours
Now for sure I feel it must be said

Can anyone argue this logic?
Regardless of what anyone here on earth has to say
If you have enough room in Heaven for all, how can we deny others room here?
Something to think about long and hard that is for sure
It’s up to us to pull together as a whole and solve this problem, but at what cost?
So many lingering questions….

When it comes to this issue of immigration
Will any of us even God himself ever have all the answers?
