Insegnante Della Vita ( Teacher of Life )

The Wisest One, like the Sun,
Selflessly drenched this cosm of aphotic crudeness
In the brine of refining rays,
But they were the heralds, who were diluted,
Who tanned us bird brains
One among them was my witless face.

Wandering like nomads, a liability
Until I met Thee-
The Banyan of enlightenment,
Elm in wisdom and strength of will
Whose inner eye, like the open minded willow, modelled.

In the impassive of Your canopy,
Under the dense branching of philosophy,
Ears sweetening rustling leaves,
Each a hymn of attainment,
Steadying the eddies that had insaned
The sanity of my psych.
Synthesising yonder pansophic streaks
Yielding me, benevolently, esculent fruits of knowledge,
Robing a naked me to strive through
Omnivorous men.

Will one day a physical deciduousness strike
Still evergreen You will prosper
As the aura that, in darkest dusks,
Shall burn and burn,
Emanated from the stars that You fashioned.
