Our Lost Children
​
Juvenile delinquency is a national crisis.
Unfortunately, innocent girls and boys are
Victims of society’s predators as
Each child has a unique story.
Non-violent and violent crimes committed,
Incarceration may be where it ends.
Loved one's hearts ache from their loss
Endlessly fighting for their child’s justice.

Does their age matter?
Each response differs as we
Lose our children daily
In the adult court system.
New state laws in the making,
Questionably we pray, hope, wait.
Unsure of each child’s fate as
Every crime is measured separately
No doubt each child is accountable.
Trying to maintain their dignity while
Silently being abused, neglected and forgotten.
