She Should Write, (Right?)

cacophony of ill-spirited choir:
murmuring more prevalent in her head
as if blasted through an amplifier

words dangle in back-of-throat, (by a thread)
could expel those demons with pencil lead
those noises disturb her/ Her eyes a-glaze

plaster demon-word-voices on letterhead

She desperately seeks a suitable phrase
but all her straight-word-threads come out edgeways
headaches hit harder, painful, more frequent

she should be ink-glazing gourmet essays
yet she's wrapped in the threads of self torment
Poet Pals attempt to reaffirm her;
Let go. Let ink flow. Embrace the murmur.
