Thousand Reflections

Once upon a time I asked you to be mine
Still you've never been.
But once this "You"
Told me to be yours & I became..!
Calling yourself the Moon
You asked me not to forget
While I was counting the stars.
But little did you know
That I found you before the moon,
Brighter than the thousand stars
Present in this Universe.
You asked me to see the moon,
I've seen you instead..
And my eyes burned itself in blaze,
A blaze so intense and purely perfect.
I'm blind now...
The world ahead of me is folded in dark,
Feelings of exquisite agony are all what I felt.
Motionless these eyes of mine
Gaze now and then across the line...
Wherever I see, whatever I see...I see you only.
Now you're all silent
Shouting my mind to your name
But comes back a resounding emptiness,
Yet I try to find that loving sound in your profound silence.
Have kept you harnessed within my innate
On the shattered mirror of this broken heart every moment
Fall your thousands of reflections quietly.....
