Transient Life

She sat on the chair in the verandah,
Her body had betrayed the soul.
She became unknown to the outside world,
Imprisoned herself to the ethereal dimension.
Teary eyes didn't fancy her,
Rueful faces didn't entertain her.
Offered herself a few words of consolation,
She rose from the chair.
The sudden demise had unnerved her,
Heavy-hearted soul let out a mournful cry.
She would be watching over the kids alone,
Since he left for the heavenly abode.
