Viral Verse

I tried to write while surfing online.
Juggling these tasks started out fine.

While carefully wondering which adverb to choose,
I searched for a pair of open-toed shoes.

Then I botched the meter while watching cats dance,
And goofed up the grammar buying tickets to France.

My flowery verbiage got bloated and swollen
While checking the symptoms for spastic colon.

Though I purchased a ravishing little black dress,
I’m afraid my poem was a stillborn mess.

Browsing the web while the muses bellow
Is like using chopsticks to try and eat Jello.
