When Time Was Summer

As winter rises,
A painful process takes place,
I've despised this,
It rears it's death like face,
On my horizons,
I've tried to fight this,
Before the frost reaches fort
And breaches slumber,

Rewind the time
when time was summer.

Hear a thunder calling,
Rain drops falling down,
Wind beating all around this place of dwelling,
Blizzard swelling up against my senses,
Arrives relentless,
So I pretend this is a dream,
Situation seems it's come to plunder,

Rewind the time
when time was summer.

At times I wonder it's effect,
I ponder and reflect those before,
Like a closed door,
Locked in isolation,
With appreciation of acquainted sanctions,
But if wintertide has not my number,

Rewind the time
when time was summer.

I implore the spell to
Be of treasure filled surprises,
Wedged so deep inside my heart
It yeilds sunrises,
Not disguised tonight,
Nor as counterfeit,
But instead emits
My encountered wonders,
No longer sorrow follows all my time

When time was summer.
