Of the Farm

OF THE FARM

A Farmer on his Feet, the World agrees,
Is taller than a Prince upon his Knees.

C OINS are round and roll away;
Fertile Ground is there to stay.

M ORE Health is gained by wearing out Shoe-leather,
Than comes from all the Doctors put together.

T HE House without a Dog, a Cat, or Child,
Knows naught of Cheer, or Laughter sweet and wild.
