DEAR Avengers

by Sunray

To Thor and Hawkeye and the rest
The mighty Hulk…and Capt.…
I sent you something in a box
That should arrive ASAP

But just to tide you over,
As it might take quite a while
I’m sending you a letter
Where I’ll critique your lifestyle

First of all, I’d like to ask
Why do you argue so?
You’re all as cranky as small kids
That, at least, I know

I also want to ask you why
You save the world and then
Go and lounge around so that
The bad guys come again

Just saying, guys, I think that you
Might try to stay awake
After all, seventy years of sleep
Is more than you should take

I’m not out making enemies…
I think you guys are great
But still, there might be some things that
It wouldn’t hurt to change

I’m having lots of fun just saying
All the things I’ve seen
That have been bugging me
Since I saw you on the screen

I have to say, you all have done
Some things that I confess
Well—all except for Ironman
Were entirely selfless

I’ll mention, Hawkeye, that you are
A really awesome guy
And that America fellow—he’s got
My emotions up sky high

That last thing that I’ll say is:
Get a janitor, I suggest
So while you guys are wasting time
He can clean up your mess

So now that I have told you all that stuff
I’ll tell you what an awesome team you are
The problem is that conflict from inside
In turning your allies to civil war

You need to find a balance in your group
Please stop being so argumentative
Stop insulting each other all the time
And try to be more complimentative

You guys are pretty neat I must admit
I’ll say you’ve saved the world a couple times
Just remember that you’re not the only ones…
But you must wait until that box arrives

P.S. One of the items in the box has limited vocabulary
