She silently weeps a sorrowful cry,
Up to the sky,
In the distance a howl of pain and anger,
A wolf emerges from the woods,
They look at each other,
A reflection in their eyes,
Both understand each other,
The dark is coming closer,
Closer he crawls,
Slowly,
But ravenously,
Both creatures understanding the evil,
Let out a scream,
A scream of caring,
A scream of love,
A scream of life without pain,
Trying to ward off this evil,
They've accepted their grief,
It is barely morning yet,
A purplish glow,
Turns orange,
With the rising sun,
The blue sky that morning,
Will live on forever,
For eternity,
In their eyes,
As they turned and walked away from each other,
Wolf to woods,
And human to house.
