11. Sappho -

SAPPHO .

Sisters ! sisters Nine and mine!
Take my latest lustral wine;
This lyre no more to be attuned by me,
I dedicate,
Alas, too late,
Brass-hearted Artemis, to thee;
And this, my weary body, to the sea.
