51 A Desirable Day -

A desirable day

My god, I long for that sweet day
When Saten shall, noe more esay.

Still by temptations for to kill
My soull, and it with sorrow fill

No deviating, thought shall bee
Once to estrang, my hart from thee.

No buding forth, of cecreet pride
Shall cause my god, his face to hide.

No remains of hipocrisie
Shall disturb to eternity.

No pasion bousterous, & strong
Shall any more upon me throng.

I shall not moane, for want of love
When fixed, on the god above

From discontent, & freatfullnese
I shall for ever be guiltlese.

Distractions shall me, no more vex
Or once again my soull perplex.

When I am fully, free from sin
All joy shall to me, sweetly spring

I shall no more thurst again
When thrown into the ocean main.

I shall not then pine for a sight
Of him who is my harts delight.

When fixt on him, shall be my eye
To'th ages of eternity.

A hart untuned for thy praise
Shall in me, no disturbance raise.

Under the shadow of thy wing
I shall security sitt, and sing

When I with the triumphant Chore
Joyne, I shall sweetly thee adore.

Oh dearest Jesus, come away
Hasten, this blessed, hapy day
