Of Apology

To own a Fault is but to say,
" I'm Wiser Now than Yesterday. "

Admitting Error clears the Score
And proves you Wiser than before.

R EDRESS remains a Debt that must be met;
Apology, alone, does not atone.

A LL sometimes Err; his Wisdom will suffice
Who never makes the Self-same Error Twice.

F ORGIVE completely. They whose Words recall
Forgiven Faults, have not forgiven All.
