Australia, Australia!
Fair daughter of the sea,
Thy fame hath spread from zone to zone,
And brought the world to thee.
For all thy ways are ways of worth
And all thy people free.

Australia, Australia!
Thy bush land slopes are fair;
And from thy dim deep mountain dells
Ascendeth every where
The song of birds and scent of flowers,
Like consentaneous prayer.

Australia, Australia!
Greed hath not cankered thee,
Nor doth the power of lust control,
Thy people's destiny:
For all thy ways are ways of worth,
And all thy people free.
