The Blackamoors

We many men from Mauritania see
To England come, as black as ravens be.
Into yourselves look with a curious eye
And you shall find you are more black than they.
Then wonder not at them so black in skin
But at yourselves so foul, so black by sin.

We many men from Mauritania see
To England come, as black as ravens be.
Into yourselves look with a curious eye
And you shall find you are more black than they.
Then wonder not at them so black in skin
But at yourselves so foul, so black by sin.
