'T IS better Thrice to ask your way
Than even Once to go astray.

Trust not a Water strange to you
Nor sign a Paper not read through.

T O quit the River's Brink may please you ill;
To quit the Bottom, though, is harder still.

P ITCH not your Voice too high nor sing too strong,
Or you may find it hard to end the Song.

D ON'T seek Honey with a Bear
And hope to get the Lion's Share.
