The Daisey is tipped wi the dew

The daisey is tipped wi the dew
The king cup is blistered wi rain
The sun scorches yellow right through
And the white spots shew still like a stain
The grass it lies green on the bank
And the moss greener still on the thorn
And the primrose all brimstone and dank
They all the wood hedges adorn
