The Ever Muse

The shadow, man, is like music of Nature;
All sing at will and pouring heart.
The sudden tempest bursts, must hail as a vast stretch of
Sunlight, heaven blue, the song of the brooks and banks
Of the incoming spraying waves, lure of the mighty
Forest-bellows in winter—and in summer, evolve in song!
