Godmersham The Temple of Delight

Gentle Pilgrim, rest thy feet,
Open is the gate to thee;
Do not doubt that thou shalt meet
Mirth and Hospitality.
Elegance & grace shall charm thee,
Reason shall with wit unite—
Sterling sense shall here inform thee
How domestic love can find
All the blessings, which combined
Make the Temple of Delight.
