Humilation without Reformation is a foundation without a building

Humiliation without Reformation is a foundation without a building Reformation without humiliation is a building without foundation

Best Architects whither in brick or ston
Cast first to lay a suer foundation
Then raise the fabrick; confident therby
T'assign't a tearm of perpetuety
While lesser artists failing of that care
And skill erect them Castles in the ayre
An Element unconstant which betrayes
To ruine whatsomever ther they raise
Such and noe other are those soe profess
To add by reformation happines
Yet want the basis they should build upon
To make it last Humiliation
When Others are cast doune upon the flore
Yet are reformd noe better than before
Soe heer foundation without building is
And ther a building on a precipice
Wherfore let me be humbled first and then
Reforme soe as never to sin again
Blending these two together with intent
To build an Everlasting Monument.
