Keep a-inching along,
Jesus will come by and by.
Keep a-inching along, like a poor inchworm,

It was by inch that I sought the Lord,
Jesus...
It was inch by inch that He saved my soul,

We'll inch and inch along,
Jesus...

And inch by inch till we get home,

Oh, trials and troubles on the way,

But we must watch as well as pray,
