It’s frustrating when sites like Duotrope disqualify submissions, often due to small technical issues. Submitting work is time-consuming enough without having to constantly worry about formatting. I wish platforms would standardize requirements—it would save so much hassle trying to resize image files or fix weird document spacing before hitting 'send.'
