“Color inside the lines,
Make sure all hue is smooth
To hide the blemishes,
The taped up tears
And the crumbled surface.”

Skin is stained and sore
From changing colors
To suit the mood, the season, the person.

“But you need to be presentable!”
And why does that matter?
Why should I degrade
My canvas to
Slight glances of observers?

I dream to be permanent
The outlier of the tones and shades,
Beyond the lines and curves
To feel vivid and alive.

Dear Poeter, Like colors, realities are changing in every human life. Realities add color to the mind-numbing thoughts as light hides behind darkness and darkness lurks after light. All The Best My Dear Friend; Write More Congratulations
