Midnight lives in me
Oh, there have been small blossoms
Bright and brief
But there is no light
Can break this night

I am Shadow
Breather of Shadows
Moon-gatherer
I have seen the sun dim
And the second hand slip
Forever
The cusp of midnight

I am my own dark dream
Darkling
That never again shall believe
Brilliance
Upon a failing star
