Delicate crystalline raindrops dance
Flirting with the leaves as they dip and dive
Caressing the earth with soft subtle kisses
Whispering sweet nothings to the earth beneath the stalks
Their gleeful whispers turn to hate
Pounding down below as they fall
Rushing down to beat the roof
Splish, splash goes the once gentle pitter-patter
Before
Sweet kisses touch the grass
