now lost, a memorial erected in a later century

consider one globe of time
being found the first of tragic many
may have no god for this

the ascension of an impressive figure, numerous
power revealed only such stars
said to be the second brought into being
builder of the permanent world

such basic technique of death
stepped in the dismantled remnants
a newly-caught fire the winter months to open air

throughout the argued self holds a rough regard
preserved in either land
respectable but far less than substantial
wealth and the worth of death

a crowd emerged for the idol ordered the act
until outpouring grief threatened the mourning
for days prior
