For, no matter how hard you try
You are always in the darkness
Never to see the light
It is a journey that never ends
In this tunnel there are many bends
I was a fool to believe
That I could reach the end
This journey of life is not easy
The never ending darkness will make you dizzy
Do not be a fool
To think that you can beat this game of life
Once, I had faith, like you
But in time, that faith was lost, subdued
I took one step forward
But ended up two steps back
But I am like any human,
I’m still going
And maybe, just maybe,
One day I’ll reach the light.
